Today I'm trying a straightforward clear-coat enamel technique (as usual at this point, first time), but the prep research turned up that apparently you can use just flat-out draw on enamel with any old mechanical pencil and then bake it on. You do have to pre-treat the enamel to make it receptive, and the pencil will become a little lighter once absorbed, and I have no current project that calls for anything like this, but it is intriguing business and I will have to think about that.
